Caregivers Association Events and Programs Calendar
The
Alberta Caregivers Association [ACGA] was founded in
2001. It is an association "Driven by Caregivers
for Caregivers" that addresses the special needs
of family caregivers. We partner with other organizations
that address caregiver issues. We promote education,
mutual support, and advocacy programs specifically designed
to serve the needs of family caregivers.

Events
and Programs Calendar
Caregiver Network: Meets every 4th
Wednesday morning at 10:00 at Alberta Caregiver Association
offices, 14220 - 109 Avenue. Come and join with others
in discussing issues and circumstances of the caregiving
journey and leave with some positive thoughts and understanding.
Some meetings feature a speaker, others an informative
video, but always time for sharing and asking questions.
Can't get out to meetings? Join our
e-group, receive information and encouragement, and
dialogue with others.
Fourth Annual Silent Auction and Fashion Show:
Plan now to join us in September 20th, 2007, at 11:00
am in the Santa Maria Goretti Community Centre at 11050
- 90 Street for fun and fashion as we host one of our
most popular fundraising events. Tabi International
will show a dazzling array of new clothing for the fall
and winter season. Lots of interesting items up for
auction as well. If you can donate an item you will
be helping the Alberta Caregivers Association with its
so-necessary work in the community.
