The Family
Caregiver Centre, the first of its kind in Alberta, is
an initiative of the Calgary Health Region in
partnership with the Calgary Health Trust. The Centre,
which opened in February 2000, was developed in
response to needs identified by family

not-for-profit society whose purpose is to inform,
support and represent family caregivers in the Capital
